What it is
Hard Rock Bet is the consumer brand for Hard Rock’s online sportsbook and casino. In New Jersey it operates under the internet gaming permit held by Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City (Hard Rock Boardwalk 1000, LLC on the Division of Gaming Enforcement’s permit-holder list). The public consumer site is hardrock.bet.
DGE lists hardrock.bet as an approved internet gaming site under Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. The sportsbook is the same brand’s licensed New Jersey sports-wagering product. In August 2023 the older Hard Rock Casino and Hard Rock Sports apps in New Jersey were rebranded into this combined Hard Rock Bet app.
Who it is for
Hard Rock Bet tends to fit adults who want sports and casino in one login, or who already stay or play at Hard Rock Atlantic City. The sportsbook is a full board — moneylines, spreads, totals, player props, same-game parlays, and live betting — not a kiosk bolted onto a hotel site.
It is a weaker fit if you only care about having the largest New Jersey handle, or if you want a rewards program tied to a national hotel group such as MGM or Caesars. A smaller book can still have a better price on a given game. Shop lines.
Products, in plain terms
- Sportsbook. Pre-match and live wagers on licensed sports, including NFL. Availability is limited to jurisdictions where Hard Rock Bet is licensed. The operator’s own site is the place to confirm the current map; do not assume a New Jersey account works in another state.
- Casino / iGaming. Real-money slots, table games, video poker, and live dealer where the state licenses online casino and Hard Rock Bet is live. New Jersey is one of those markets. Casino games that load in New Jersey will not load in a sports-betting-only state.
- Florida, separately. Hard Rock Bet also operates Florida’s limited online sportsbook under the Seminole compact. That is a different legal product and a different set of rules from New Jersey. We do not blend the two markets on this page.
Legal-state caveat
A Hard Rock Bet login is not a nationwide license. Geolocation decides what you can open. If you travel, the product menu will change. Do not use a VPN to appear in New Jersey — or any other licensed state.
